Megalith Games announced a Kickstarter campaign for their game Godslayer: "This is Andre of Megalith Games. I wanted to personally inform you about the current news so you don't hear this second hand from some forums. Do not worry, we are still very much in business! In fact we are so busy and up to our ears with the new releases of Godslayer that we have been delayed in developing our international presence. This has the consequence that the German translation of the rules and, cards, items, boxes, etc. are all behind schedule.
Originally we considered the first Quarter of 2013 as a possible release date for the German version, but this was unfortunately not possible since our priority is to continue full-blast support for the English version of the Game. We have thought hard how to solve the situation and have (hopefully) found an acceptable solution: Kickstarter!
Even though we have so far managed without this platform, at this point it provides us the perfect solution. So next Wednesday, (30th Jan), the release of our Kickstarter project is triggered! Assuming the project is successful, we will have raised all the money necessary to pay additional translators, and printing in bulk the German rulebook and cards. What happens if the Kickstarter project falls flat? Well, in this case there will still be a German translation of course, as soon as we can manage it, but we cannot predict a reliable date. We hope that the kickstarter Project is successful and your participation will be helpful in this. We recommend you to take advantage of this opportunity because all deals we offer through Kickstarter will never again be available at these discounted prices, and they include many exclusive items and opportunities.
All deals are available in English and German! This allows all English-speaking players around the world the possibility to benefit from this project, and all German players can reserve their exclusive German deals. Since we have so far financed the entire company and project with our own resources we were unsure about such a course, but in order to support our German player community the best we can, we decided this is definitely the way to go. So please have a look at Kickstarter for some great deals, and please tell all your friends."
Not sure if you're going to eventually pledge? Take a look at these reviews showing the excellent quality of their miniatures: Nordgaard Starter set and the Trologdyte Starter set. Be warned looking at the miniatures may cause a buying frenzy!
