TinMan Miniatures: Lost Worlds' Princesses & More Kickstarter

TinMan Miniatures: Tin Man Miniatures, LTD, is relaunching its campaign to greatly expand our successful product line of metal gaming miniatures. If you were with us for our first KS, you may have questions about the changes to the way this KS is structured, but first, thanks for giving us another look.

The majority of comments we received from our backers fell into two main categories, those who wanted more of our “Princess” types of miniatures and those who wanted squads of miniatures. With this KS, if the first funding goal is reached, we will be able to produce something of a compromise so now, all of our figures are being offered singly rather than in units.

You may be thinking that it makes sense to offer the Princess models singly but then why are the units being offered up one model at a time? We strongly feel that once the first models in a unit are created it will be easier for us to produce the remainder of the models for the units whether we get the units fully funded this time around or not. Interested take a look here.

TinMan Miniatures: Kickstarter Campaign 2013 Update

TinMan Miniatures: Thank you for the amazing first week! We're thrilled at the level of support we've seen, it's incredibly rewarding. You are making this project a reality!

We wanted to let you know about a new development to our campaign. We've had a lot of questions about combining website orders with the Kickstarter, which ends up being basically impossible to set up logistically (the website orders are processed via PayPal; the Kickstarter is processed via Amazon, who does not support PayPal; and so on).

We have decided to make our entire line of miniatures (except for bases) available as add-ons, available to anyone who pledges at the Canis Trainer level or higher. These are strictly add-ons, and are not part of any pledge level. The graphic is attached at the end of this update. Additionally, to make it easier to add totals, and to keep the total numbers tidy, we're offering a discount on all of these add-on miniatures. Their prices are rounded down to the nearest 50 cents or dollar! Domestic shipping is still included in these prices, and international shipping is still only $9! Please help spread the word in any way you can -- posting to forums, sharing on Facebook and Twitter, or even emailing friends who you know would love these figures! Thank you again for the incredible support!

TinMan Miniatures: Kickstarter Campaign 2013

TinMan Miniatures: Tin Man Miniatures, LTD, is launching its first campaign to greatly expand our successful product line of metal gaming miniatures. As big fans of early Twentieth Century Science Fiction, our goal at Tin Man is to create miniature figurines whose iconic looks are inspired by that wellspring of imagination.

Our intent is not to slavishly follow the descriptive writings of any particular author but rather to expand upon those genres in new and creative ways and bring those worlds to three dimensional life. Beginning as a one-man operation in 2009, we have been steadily growing and due to the nearly universal positive response from the miniatures community we feel that now is the time to grow and bring Tin Man to a whole new level.

Our hopes for this Kickstarter are that it will enable us to fund the production costs that, until now, have been holding us back from expanding and fully developing our miniatures line as we always envisioned and intended it to be. If successful, we will have the means to bring nearly forty new models models into production that will satisfy the needs of collectors and gamers alike.
