Sentinel Games has just previewed this Glorlon promo miniature for their Total Extinction Kickstarter which is ending soon. The exclusive miniature is the fierce Glorlon commander Lagral and can be bought for only £1 till the 30 of november.

Sentinel Games: Total Extinction Kickstarter New Add Ons

Sentinel Games: As we promised, with the change to Resin we are able to release more models. And the new add-on will be the Glorlon Suppressor and the Glorlon Anti-aircraft artillery. Here's a video of the new Glorlon Anti-aircraft artillery. The size of this model is 85mm high, with a 100mm base, and each one has a price on our Kickstarter of only £17.

Sentinel Games: Important Total Extinction Kickstarter Update!

Sentinel Games: We have important news from Total Extinction: This week we´ve had several meetings with a couple of factories to adjust prices and decide which material is the the best for the miniatures. Our miniatures have a lot of details, some of them are very difficult to replicate without very expensive molds (with mobile parts) but when we created Sentinel Games, we had two things in mind clear: make great games and even better miniatures. So making mediocre models was not an option for us. We must replicate each detail. 

Other problem is that we want to make a lot of models, all of them multipart. Plastic injection has very expensive molds (even more expensive for our models if we don´t modify them) and we want a lot of them. The 8 models included in the Starter Set are only the beginning: we want the Glorlon Supperssor or the Colonial Stakan alive as soon as posible. After all that we came to only one conclusion:

RESIN!!!!

With polyurethane resin we can make awesome models, full of details and with a cheap molding cost, so we can release more models faster than with plastic. And we found a factory in Spain so we could follow the production very close and be sure that the miniatures are of the best quality.

The drawback of resin is the individual cost for each miniature in comparison with plastic so the Starter Set "Battle for Karnak" will have a higher value on retail that we expect.

But this is not all the news we have: The Starter Set will include more minis! We change the size of the colonial Trooper squad to 9 miniatures and the Glorlon Soldier squad to 5 miniatures. So in each Starter will be 37 miniatures instead of just 29, and of Resin instead of plastic:

• 1 Glorlon Biotank
• 1 Glorlon Commander
• 4 Glorlon Raiders
• 10 Glorlon Soldiers
• 1 T94 Tank
• 1 Shtorm Artillery
• 1 Colonial Commander
• 18 Colonial Trooper

Sentinel Games: Total Extinction Kickstarter Launched!

The Sentinel Games' Total Extinction Kickstarter has been succesfully launched and has at the moment collected £10.000 towards it's £30.000 funding goal. Here's some information: Humans and aliens fight for survival in a 28mm scale scifi miniatures wargame. It is the year 562, the Age of the Diaspora. Humanity, established in hundreds of worlds throughout the known universe, is fighting for survival against cruel alien races, and even against each other, confronted by disputes that appear increasingly absurd.

One world after another is engulfed by the fury of the war while the contenders fight ruthlessly to prevent Total Extinction. Total Extinction is a new scifi miniature wargame. Here we bring you "Battle for Karnak" the first official game campaign for the Total Extinction universe. Sentinel Games: Upcoming Total Extinction Kickstarter!

I have just received the news that Sentinel Games will launch their Total Extinction kickstarter on the 22nd of October at 16.00 GMT (11.00 EST / 8.00 PST). Our goal is to launch the first two armies ( Glorlons and Union Colony ) with everything needed to play : Rulebook, Tactical and Unit cards , dice, markers and templates.

Colonial Army Starter Box

Total Extinction is a battle game for two or more players in a science fiction universe . Each player leads an army composed of infantry units, tanks or artillery. But not only the brute force of frontline units will give the victory to one side as the commanders can use special skills (illustrated through Tactical Cards ) which will be crucial to win. 

 

The main reward of the campaign will be a Starter Set called "Battle for Karnak " including the two armies at war with the epic combats that take place on this planet in the form of playable missions. Also here you can see our first painted prototype that we hope will inspire many wargamers to approach the world of Total Extinction.

Sentinel Games: Total Extinction on Kickstarter‏

Sentinel Games: We can finally announce the launch of Total Extinction on Kickstarter: it will be on the 15th of October at 17:00 Spanish time (16:00 GMT). With crowdfunding we hope to raise funds for production of the first two armies (the Union of Colonies and the Glorlon) which can be obtained in boxes of units, armies or in a Starter Set called “Battle for Karnak”, the first official campaign of the game.

 Every box of units will contain from one to nine miniatures as well as the respective cards of units and the tactical cards (in the case of Commanders). The Starter will be composed of two balanced armies that enable to carry out the missions described in the campaign as well as all necessary elements for the game (rulebook, cards of units and tactical cards, dice, templates and tokens). We hope we can count on your backing to be able to make Total Extinction a reality.

Sentinel Games: Preview of Entire Glorlon Army Faction

Just received these preview renders of the Glorlon Army Faction for Sentinel Games' Total Extinction Universe. 

From left to right you can see a Biotank, Bioartillerist, Genocider, Soldier, Commanders (2) and Raider. The Raider will have four weapon options: acid rifle (in the images), ink cloud projector, neural disruptor and neurotoxin weapon.

Just received this great news from Salvador over at Sentinel Games: We have almost finished the first faction for Total Extincion: the Glorlon army. This cephalopod alien race will consist in the first release of one commander and four units: glorlon Soldier, heavy infantry "Genocider", Raider and Biotank. Attached you can see the renders of some of them, and in our youtube channel you can see the designs of all of them.

Sentinel Games: Total Extinction, New Science Fiction Game

Sentinel Games: Total Extinction is a wargame set in a universe at war, in which the various species struggle to avoidannihilation. Different armies are represented by miniatures 28mm scale fighting on a table, aided specialequipment and tactics to achieve victory.

Mankind went into space in the hope that the immensity of the cosmos builds a new man and left behind itsperennial problems. However, these followed the man wherever they went. The men went warring nowconfronted into two antagonistic blocs: the Regulatory Corporation (or simply the Corporation) and the Union of Colonies.

 The ideological difference was insurmountable, irreconcilable rivals seemed destined to fight forever for hegemony. Even the discovery of an alien race, the Elohim and the ensuing war unleashed against them failed to unite humanity.

The war, though increasingly virulent, between the Corporation, the Union of Colonies and Elohim seemed verydistant to the billions of beings who were not at the forefront. Until Glorlons appeared. These beings unleashed a relentless war of extermination against anyone who tried to resist. Since then the war would not be to define a border, but existence itself.

Glorlons armies invaded a human world or elohim after another, devastating and destroying everywhere. Hisgoal was clear: the extinction of any species that might oppose them. One system after another war spreads and only one species will survive it, others may fall into Total Extinction.
