Stoke Con Trent is Staffordshire’s Biggest TV, Film, Comic and Memorabilia Convention. This year the organisers are looking to expand the entertainment base by opening up space to the wargaming hobby. Staffordshire & Cheshire Wargames Club will be in attendance, displaying an X-Wing game as a nod to the Star Wars genre, and Black Pyramid Gaming will have a stall to display their own range of wargaming miniatures. We also hope to host a fun Dalek Demolition Derby, just for laughs!
We appreciate that gamers won’t travel miles for just one game and a trader, but if you live close to Stoke and you fancy a combined day of celebrity guests, merchandise traders, and wargames, please come along to support the event and take part in the game – if wargaming events proves popular, it may secure a spot in future events, and that will be great for the hobby.
