This display recreates atmospheres fantastic. The brick walls make room perfect and welcome every single object in the best way, creating views of rare beauty.

Nick at Northstar Miniatures has just done the following generous gift to the level 3 and more pledgers of the Frostgrave crowdfunder: We came so close to getting to the £40K spend goal. That would have released a free model of a new Templar. I've decided, because we got so close, I'm going to send a free Templar model to every Level 3+ Wizard after all! What we'll do is include a free Crusader Miniatures model of a Knight with a two handed weapon. The Ion Age: Conflict Cornucopia Blog Reviews Patrol Angis

The Ion Age: Patrol Angis has been released now for a number of weeks and hundreds of copies of the fantastic power packed A5 book have winged their way around the world. 

One person who had received their copy and has a lot to say about it is Chris Walkley who runs the Conflict Cornucopia blog. He has posted up an in depth review covering the book itself as well as the background, the core mechanics, force organisation and his own considered thoughts. Manorhouse Workshop: Second update dedicated to the comparison of the miniatures and accessories VS our dungeon. Today we have a classic role-playing game: D&D. So nothing more typical of a sewer “MUP” to best present this fantastic game.

In the sewers you can find a bit of everything … maybe too much. The miniatures are prepainted classic of D&D. Accessories instead are various brands. Looking at the pictures makes you want to pull some dices and some spells. Even this display it is assembled with 2 boxes. The result is truly impressive. A master can fully express his imagination helped by a thousand details. The compositions that can be obtained are many. a more interesting than the other.

The new paint/texture variations can be applied to all existing tile types, and they Unlock two new tiles: the Impact Crater and the Artillery Craters types. The impact Crater tile includes one big crater, with the smooth style of craters cause by large asteroid impacts. The artillery craters are smaller, with the jagged edges of exploding ground. The Craters are an add-on, or you can Upgrade your Plain/Broken Ground tiles into them! You can even "fill" them with some liquid, like water or lava...

Finally, another "upgrade" option unlocked for SciFi battlegrounds is the exchange of "normal" water on River and Pond Tiles, to Lava or Green toxic flows!

The Ion Age: Thank to everyone who has downloaded the free four page PDF on using our Planetary Militia miniatures in the Patrol Angis rules system. 

I have had a fair number of emails and pings from IonFans over the weekend thanking me for taking the time to not only make up this PDF but to give it away free. I am happy to have done so. But one other common thread came up in these comments and that was a desire to see the images from the PDF in full. These images were taken during our own internal playtesting of the rules and stats in the PDF (also in the forthcoming Shia Khan free material) and depict a rolling conflict. I thought sure why not and this posting is the result. I present to you in order from one to eight the images each with a short caption.
