Commando Miniatures: Post World War Two Gurkha's Previewed

Commando Miniatures: We are proud to announce that the new range of figures for our "End of Empire" period is now well in development. This time it's the Gurkhas!

These doughty little soldiers, thought by many to be the finest infantry in the world, formed the core of the 17th Infantry Division and were often involved in the heaviest fighting in Borneo during the Confrontation. Indeed, one of the very few post WW2 VCs was won by Lance-Naik Rambahadur Limbu of the 10th Gurkha Rifles in 1965.

We are also pleased to announce that the range of Radfan hill tribesman is being expanded, and, there will be further development in the area of Arab irregulars, figure types suitable for a range of conflicts in the Middle East during the 60s and 70s.

The new figures should be ready for Salute in April, but as ever we are in the hands of our sculptor and caster when it comes to delivery. In any event a newsletter will be issued when the Gurkhas are ready for sale.
