Tajima1 Miniatures: Static Grass Tuft Pack Reviewed!

Today we will take a closer look at the very useful Tajima1 Miniatures static grass tuft packs! For those unfamiliar with the company, Tajima1 Miniatures is a professional British miniature painting service with more than 15 years of full-time painting experience. Next to this they have also started to sell static grass tufts that were initially produced to base their commissioned miniatures. These static grass tufts are an easy way to base your miniatures and also greatly enhance the final look of your painted miniatures.

Their grass tufts are sold in a variety of sizes and colors ranging from green to brown. You can also purchase the grass tufts in mixed packs with a variety of colors and sizes. I have recently bought a couple of these packs to base my miniatures and was amazed by how quick and easy you can use these tufts. You simply need to peel them from the paper with tweezers and place them on the finished base!

And that's it, no need to attach glue and mess with static grass. These packs cost around £6.25 depending on the type and each pack contains 160 static grass tufts ready to be used. The service and the delivery was also quick so if you're interested in testing them out don't hesitate to order some as they are shipped for free in the UK and free worldwide when ordering five or more packs. In the picture you can see the medium tufts along side an 28mm miniature from Perry Miniatures.

I can certainly recommend this product and will continue to use these tufts to base up my expanding miniature collection. If you're interested in purchasing these tufts you can find them here at the Tajima1 Miniatures website along with all sorts of other types of static grass and shrub tufts. You can also find a very nice Flames of War basing tutorial using the static grass tufts on their website so take make sure to take a look.

From now on, this manufacturer will be the sole supplier of tufts for my collection! As you say Michael, the tufts are a great product with a very competitive price and excellent service.

Cheers!
