Hordes players take on the role of warlocks as they lead their wild forces into battle. Warlocks are formidable combatants in their own right, and their armies make use of both hardened and brutal warriors and packs of savage warbeasts, allowing them to contend on equal footing with the greatest armies of the Iron Kingdoms. Players collect, assemble, and paint fantastically detailed models representing the varied warriors, minions, and beasts in their hordes. Hordes is the feral twin of the steam-powered combat game of Warmachine, and the two are fully compatible.
This new release for the skorne factions has caught my attention: Warriors of peerless discipline, the incindiarii march at the fore in extremely heavy armor. Their incindi discharge chymical rockets that roast alive men and beasts alike in a terrible conflagration. Any who survive this onslaught and attempt to countercharge find themselves facing the incindiarii’s skillfully wielded blades.
As with the changes that Privateer Press has made these have now been released in plastic instead of our preferred metal. The prices however haven't changed which is a pitty as these retail at $49.99.
