New movie: Wrath of the Titans!

Hi, I've just seen the trailer of the movie "Wrath of the Titans" and I was really suprised by the great and epic battle scenes between gods, men and titans! The movie follows the first movie called "Clash of the Titans" which was rather disappointing to be fair. In this new movie Perseus the demi god is chosen to lead humanity and the gods in an alliance against the powerful titans. These titans once locked up by the gods and sealed by the belief of humanity have escaped as humanity lost his belief in the weak gods.

The trailer is just awesome especially when the titan with two bodies armed with swords rages through a whole group of Greek soldiers! Not to mention the cyclops!

Hidden Gems: Four A Miniatures

Hi, as part of my featured company line of posts, I've decided to present to you Four A Miniatures! This home based manufacturer which is also a member of the Lead Adventure Forum sells a stunning range of miniatures ranging from goblins to future civilians and pilots! I've first discovered this marvellous range on The Lead Adventure Forum, the forum for the die hard lead fanatics! The excellent range is sculpted by a dozen different sculptors such as Kev Adams, Paul Muller, Jim Bowen and many others. Each of the miniatures in the range is packed with character and is avaible at more than reasonable prices.

As the range is so differs I've decided to post some of my personal favorites!

The first miniatures that immediatly caught my attention were these lovely goblins sculpted by the talented Kev Adams! These wonderful miniatures are filled with character as they resemble the old school goblins from several decades ago. My personal favorite of the bunch is the leader standing tall armed with his trusty spear and awesome shield, he probably rules the goblin horde with an iron fist! These miniatures can be bought as a group at only £10!

Another of my favorites is called the Demon and is sculpted by Matt Gubser. I just love the sheer monstrosity of this otherworld creature. This great miniature could be used in tons of different settings ranging from Call of Cthulhu or most science fiction genres. This great two part miniature can be purchased at a measly £4.50!

More of these great miniatures can be found in the online store which you can find by following the mentionned link: http://www.fouraminiatures.com/page2.htm

I hope you liked this hidden gem as much as I did!

Lead Adventure Miniatures Madness!

As some may have already noticed the relativly new wargame company Lead Adventure Miniatures has released a new exciting range filled with the most excellent sculpts you've ever witnessed in the industry! The new range is completly filled with all sorts of brave dwarves and their heroic maidens. But wait .... I hear you think not again more bloody dwarves? The miniature market is full of them? Yes, more dwarves but these ones are the most excellent dwarf miniatures you will find in the wargame industry as there are not only the basic warriors (these miniatures are also full of character!) but the range also contains all sorts of specialised miniatures such as dwarves who are carrying a massive dragon egg! Honest, where do you find that sort of miniatures?

Which other packs can be found in the range?

  1. In the Forgotten Libraries
  2. Dragon's Treasure
  3. Raiders of the Dragon Egg
  4. Dwarf Rat Blues
  5. Picnic in the Dungeon
  6. Dangerous Maidens
  7. Mine Explorers
  8. Forge Keepers
  9. Mountain Guards
  10. Gate Crushers
  11. Fury of the Norse Clan
  12. Attack of the Clansmen
  13. Fargrim Dragonaxe, The King of the Grey Mountains
  14. Sandulf Moonbeard, The Priest

Personal favorites!

Number one

The excellent pack called the Dangerous Maidens! I've always wondered how female dwarves looked and to be honest I quite like them pictures as heroic maidens supporting their male counterparts in both battle and logistics! You can't fight a dragon or steal his egg with an empty stomach!

Number Two

The pack called Dwarf Rat Blues! The name is awesome but the miniatures even more. The miniatures are filled with character and I never seen a dwarf bard miniature before.

Number Three

The packs of dwarves who raided a Dragon's den and probably killed him as they are posing with one of his teeth! These miniatures and some mine explorers are bundled in the deal called "In the Dragon's Keep" at a discounted price.

The entire range can be found at http://www.lead-adventure.com/index.php?cPath=23 make sure you also check the other great ranges! I hope you enjoyed this update as real life is quite busy!
