American naval and airforce personnel

Hi, here's a new post about my steadily growing plastic 20mm collection. This time the post is based around an undersized naval or airforce battalion. This battalion is build up with aircraftcarrier crew, pilots and other needed staff. The miniatures are mostly Atlantic seamen and some cheap copies of micro machines miniatures such as the pilot and advancing soldier. The battalion will be probably used in a Pacific setting as part of an airfield defense force or just unarmed personnel you need to protect during a fierce Japanese banzai! However they could also be used as naval personnel on ships, I will not use them for that purpose because of the flocked bases (well, maybe sometimes).

The battalion exist:

- 1 commander (1 figure)
- 2 squads of 3 bases (12 figures)
- (additional base per platoon in progress)

The officer (all Atlantic miniatures are actually designed to represent 1960-80 naval personnel but I prefer to use them in a World War 2 setting)

The entire battalion with the exception of the 2 bases which are still under construction.

Greets,
