Thorn's Forge: Thorn's Forge Returns to Kickstarter Tomorrow with Sector X: The Rail Junction. Following two successful industrial terrain campaigns, Thorn's Forge returns to Kickstarter with Sector X: The Rail Junction, the third installment in its interconnected series of FDM-friendly sci-fi terrain.
Launching July 28th at 17:00 CEST / 11:00 AM EDT (New York), Sector X introduces a sprawling industrial railway environment designed for grimdark tabletop battlefields. The collection features locomotives, rail platforms, pipelines, machinery, barricades and a wide variety of modular scatter terrain that can be combined to create countless battlefield layouts.
At the heart of the campaign are 25 highly detailed STL terrain pieces, all specifically engineered to print without supports on FDM printers. Every piece has been designed to be practical to print while delivering immersive gameplay with dense industrial cover, elevated firing positions and plenty of line-of-sight blocking terrain. As the campaign progresses, backers will unlock 10 railway-themed Stretch Goals, expanding the rail network with additional track sections and accessories to build even larger and more dynamic industrial battlefields.
Sector X is a complete standalone terrain collection, while also integrating seamlessly with Sector XIII: The Foundry District and Sector XVII: The Ruined Manufactorum. Combined, the three sectors create one massive interconnected industrial battlefield with virtually endless layout possibilities.
The campaign launches with a limited Early Bird pledge of just €28 for the first 100 backers. Backers can also choose the Three Sector Bundle for €79, saving 40% compared to purchasing all three sectors individually.
Whether you're looking to build a compact skirmish board or a sprawling industrial warzone, Sector X offers a highly detailed, support-free terrain system that's easy to print and built for the tabletop. The Kickstarter campaign launches on July 28th at 17:00 CEST / 11:00 AM EDT (New York). Follow the Kickstarter pre-launch page and get notified the moment the campaign goes live.
