The Little Soldier Company: There comes a time, as Alice surely once thought, that chasing a white rabbit in a suit down a hole is not really the most sensible way to start the day… an adventure maybe, but certainly not the day... some doors are not meant to be open or even, dare it be said, left ajar… doors left ajar tend to let all sorts of things both in and out. Geründerland was such a place; that is to say that a door there had been left somewhat ajar, in that it was most definitely not closed. When you hear the pitter patter of tiny feet as a child you assume it is the approach of younger siblings... as you grow older you assume it is beloved offspring… in Geründerland you assume nothing… it is always better to flee.
Alice, along with her evil step-sister Malice do not normally appear together... Malice's prime directive is to ensure all creatures of Geründerland are returned back to England and the world of normality... in order to do this she carries a book of power, the first printing of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, also known as Charles Dodgson. Both he and his twin Geründerland brother seek to outflank Malice's every turn in order to protect this mutated creation of the book... for that is what Geründerland is... a projection of Wonderland formed by that first printing...
