Wayland Games: Science Fiction Bonanza - Warlord Games Project Z and Spiral Arm Studio Maelstrom's Edge Discounted

Wayland Games has discounted some of the new yet already popular all in one science fiction miniature wargames. The first one is Project Z - the zombie miniature game by Warlord Games. The other is Maelstrom's Edge by Spiral Arm Studio and the team behind the DakkaDakka forum.

Today we bring you Zombies, lots of them! Fight to survive in the abandoned streets of a post-apocalyptic world infested by unnatural creatures hungry for your flesh. Scavenge for scarce supplies whilst battling against the dead and the living alike; there are no laws, there are no rules, only the fight.

If fighting hoards of the undead isn't your thing why not take a look at Maelstrom's Edge from Spiral Arm Studios. In the far future, humanity had colonized large parts of the galaxy's spiral arm. Then disaster hit. A violent explosion of energy known as the Maelstrom erupted at the heart of humanity's worlds, destroying the core of human civilization and expanding rapidly to threaten more worlds. The edge of the storm forms the frontier where Maelstrom's Edge battles are played out. Which side will you join?

Project Z is a skirmish wargame for 1 to 3 players taking control of Survivors or a Street Gang fighting to survive against the environment and an ever-growing horde of Zombies. Project Z is a fast and easy to learn game containing 39 detailed self-assembly plastic models, rules, counters and specially designed dice and cards.

Humanity and alien alike have spent tens of thousands of years colonising their spiral arm of the galaxy. Everything they created is under threat as the Maelstrom erupts from the central worlds, ripping apart all it touches. Corporate contractor and religious priest alike must decide their fate on the worlds at the edge - which will you choose?

Maelstrom's Edge: Battle for Zycanthus is the first boxed set for the Maelstrom's Edge tabletop miniatures game and contains everything you need to start playing. The squad-based skirmish ruleset focuses on fast-paced, tactical play, where units must collaborate to suppress their enemies, while other units flank and destroy them.
