Copper Mine Miniatures: Victorian Steampunk Cog Division of the Household Cavalry Kickstarter

Copper Mine Miniatures has yesterday launched their steampunk Queen Victoria's Special Cog Division of the Household Cavalry Kickstarter!

This Kickstarter project has been set up to fund the production of a Victorian Science Fiction (Steampunk) Division of the Household Cavalry. Based on the uniforms of the Horse Guards and with plenty of twists it makes for an interesting, varied and large unit. Most of the figures are based on core sculpts of a Private, an Officer and a Horse. Once these were perfected the individual units were developed. A good amount of the sculpting has already been done for this project and will continue as this project develops.

The figures will be exclusively available to Kickstarter backers at reduced prices (pre-sale) before being released through our website in the following months (mid 2017 at the latest). am very pleased to say that the Duncan the sculptor that worked on the previous project has stayed with me for this one and has worked his magic with my brief. As with the Wild West Show the figures will be cast in white metal from 3D printed masters.

You can grab the following units each consisting out of five cavalry models for £24.00. I have some of the Wild West miniatures as shown above and they are superb quality. Looking at the renders I though they look a bit bulky but the casted miniatures are just nicely proportioned and very detailled. Will do my best to take some pictures of them soon so you can judge yourself!

Check the Kickstarter here and grab your own steampunk cavalry miniatures!
