Pulposaurus Entertainment: Crom: Conan Rise of Monsters Miniature Game Preview

Pulposaurus Entertainment: "Conan: Rise of Monsters is a new mass-combat miniatures game featuring exquisite 28mm plastic pre-painted figures. Each starter box presents a complete tabletop miniatures game with rules, special dice, cards and markers as well as a complete starter army for either Conan and his Circle of Iron or Thoth-Amon and his Legion of Set. Starter army boxes will be supplemented with additional warbands, leaders, and monsters".

Conan is not new to the gaming scene, but we’re always excited to see what the latest is featuring the fearsome Cimmerian. And at GAMA Trade Show 2015 that was an upcoming miniatures game called Conan Rise of Monsters by Pulposaurus Entertainment! Coming to Kickstarter this summer and then retail in early 2016, Rise of Monsters is an all new skirmish level game featuring high quality pre-painted miniatures; in fact, Pulposaurus is committed to producing the highest quality, best painted minis in the business. This early in the process they didn’t have a lot on display but the artwork used in the game (and as the basis for the miniatures) looked fantastic. There was one piece of terrain with two skeleton warriors, very early prototypes. Interestingly, Pulposaurus is dedicated to making the game retailer-friendly. The Kickstarter will have few if any exclusives so as to give retailers a level playing field, and they may include retailer-specific exclusives like terrain pieces! Look for the Kickstarter this summer with two base boxes (Conan’s Circle of Iron vs. Thoth-Amon’s Legion of Set) with 15-16 minis, dice, cards, and more for about $99.

"The Circle of Iron starter army has a unit of Gunderland Pikemen, a unit of Bossonian Archers, and a unit of Poitainian Knights, supported by a monstrous War Mammoth and led by King Conan." This is a teaser for future releases of the Crom: Conan Rise of Monsters miniature game. I will be adding more information as it releases in the coming weeks with artwork and unit teases.
