Some more news about the upcoming Frostgrave plastic and metal range from Northstar Miniatures and Osprey Publishing. The plastic boxed set will contain a variety of Frostgrave Soldiers (official name for the henchmen). There will also be a hard-plastic kit/weapons sprue containing all sorts of items such as lanterns and so on. The plastic boxed set is a purely Northstar Miniatures product so there's no connection with Fireforge Games although some of their plastic miniatures are pictured in the rulebook.
For those able to attend Salute, you can find the the tooling figures on display on the Osprey stand, along with Kev's painted Wizards and Henchmen! I hope to take some pictures for those who can't attend. The metal range will contain 20 wizards and apprentices, two for each of the ten magic schools. I have been following the news since the initial rumours so you can find all the news and pictures of a painted plastic Frostgrave soldiers and metal mages over here.
Just found these playtest battle reports on this wargame blog named Cor Blog Me! You can check them here. I have also published my first tutorial for making wintry Frostgrave inspired terrain over here with more hopefully following soon. You can check the snowy pine forest bases tutorial over here and let me know what you think. Cheers
