The rules are quick to play, use a creative dice based system to quickly resolve fire and moves through turns very quickly. The turn sequence has unexpected moments permitting players to take advantage of a situation as it develops or forcing them to react on their feet when something goes awry.
While larger forces are possible, the typical game involves only a handful of soldiers on each side, allowing you to focus on the personalities you have generated in your campaign. Pick up games can be played quickly and efficiently as well. Simply roll up two forces, pick a mission and have a go at it.
