Khurasan Miniatures: 15mm Soviet T-63 Main Battle Tank

Khurasan Miniatures: We are very pleased to release the next product for our new Yom Kippur War range, the dreaded Soviet T-62 Main Battle Tank. This tank had heavier armor than the T-55, but its real distinction was its gun – the huge 115mm U-5TS cannon was the first widely-used tank gun to use APFSDS ammunition, the deadly tank-killing ammo used by most nations' main battle tanks today. At the time, it was the most powerful tank gun in the world. The T-62s led the attack on the Israeli armor in both the Egyptian and Syrian armies.
