Battlefront Miniatures: The Type 38 became the standard field gun of the Imperial Japanese Army at the conclusion of the Russo-Japanese War in 1905. Built under license from the famed German gun manufacturer Krupp; the Type 38 was a relatively simple design, which meant that a greater number of guns could be built in a shorter time span.
