Just found this news from Khurasan Miniatures: We have released quite a few new codes for our Planet 15 line of 15mm cinematic sci fi ... First we have The Slimees -- slithering balls of hostility who have invaded our world to disintegrate humans and mutilate cattle, not necessarily in that order. There is a Slimee Incursion Squad pack of nine Slimees -- four trooper poses and a wadleader gesturing forward in a highly tactical (tentacle?) manner.
When opposition is more severe, the Slimees simply pop into Slimee Battle Dress and zoom off into action! This armour clanks along on tracks, and mounts a huge claw and a formidable cannon. For those pesky linear obstacles the suit mounts a rocket in the rear for brief hops.
Next we have something unworldly to oppose our sets of men in parkas -- Antarctic Monsters, horribly deformed beasts. Next up for this range, hopefully soon, is our Antarctic Madness set, commissioned by a customer, and then some special forces troopers in parkas to come in and clean the whole place up (or return the infection to civilisation, perhaps?).
Updating our Redneck range we have three rednecks in more of a mood to run than fight -- these are the Flight of the Earls. We have Earl with a barbecue fork, Earl with a six pack, and Chastity Earline with a bottle of Jim Beam. (She's is a family way, bless her heart.) Of course these could also be used running toward the action, using the items they are carrying as weapons (molotov cocktails, etc).
And what are they running from? The Deerhunters, whitetails "lifted up" to sentience, and firearms use, by the little green alien imperialists to fight the rednecks. There are two deerhunters, one with a hunting rifle, the other with a shotgun. A game with these two deer, hunting the Flight of the Earls set, would be just the thing.
Next up we have the Spirit Punters, like plumbers except they rid your basement of demons and other nasties. They are available as a squad of four.
Allies of the Spirit Punters, the Friendly Demons help out with spirit-punting when they can. They are available in sets of three.
Last, but definitely least, are The Fecalings, hideous fly-men who will find a host of uses (pardon the expression) in games from sci fi to fantasy to pulp horror. The wings are separate pieces and the flying bases are not included. All available now, on the Planet 15 page, linked below. Happy gaming!
