Steel Fist Miniatures: New Samurai Miniatures!

Hi, I've just seen this new company called Steel Fist which is focussing on a Sengoku Samurai Range! All I can say is that the miniatures look interestingand some of them look even mean especially with their strange armor and horns. Here I gathered some fragments from his blog along with some photographs of his great miniatures. All of these miniatures are packed by two and retail for £6.00 a pack, if you're interested here's the link to his website so you can also see his European Medieval Range. The miniature of the right is honda diyamo, maybe honda tadamasa, he is wearing a highly ornate namban-do or European influenced armour, the helmet is meant to be a shell with waves cascadeing over it.

The miniature on the right in the following picture depicts Ukita Hidie, one of the main western commanders at Sekighara here he waves his 17.000 strong contingent forward.

In the next picture you can see a new wild looking samurai commander rushing into battle having just drawn his taichi or longsword, the armour is a compostite of real suits. Samurai diaymo were known for often owning several yoroi or suits of armor, sometimes highly outlandish designed to intimidate and impress on the battlefield, as in the case here the armour style is called hotoke-dou hammered into the shape of a human torso, his sode and haidate covered with scales some of the armors were painted flesh colour the helmet style is also authentic covered in hair to look like a man
