1985 Games: Dungeons & Dragons Journals and Guided Sticky Notes Reviewed!

Today we will take a closer look at the very useful Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Journals and Guided Sticky Notes by 1985 Games currently funding on Kickstarter! Looking for an easy way to track the progress of your roleplaying character, take notes of important places and non-player characters or record your epic world building you might be in for a treat so let's explore the neatly designed Dungeon Notes by 1985 Games!

Dungeon Notes is a brand new system, for DMs and Players alike, to keep track of their characters and the world around them. Both the journals and sticky notes are designed to enhance your game by making an easy-to-understand system for note-taking, world-building and so much more.

The Kickstarter campaign is featuring three journals including Hero's Notes, Session Notes and Campaign Notes alongside a small selection of Dungeon Sticky Notes to track combat related events and also to keep note of such as locations, non-player characters, factions, etc. but let's take a closer look at the different journals and sticky notes and how they can change the way you keep track of your epic adventures!

Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Journals

1985 Games has been developing and designing three different types of journals for keeping track of your Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition adventures, the most popular roleplaying game worldwide. In these journals you track either the progress of your own character as the player or keep track of the roleplaying session and campaign if you're the game master or dungeon master.

The Hero's Notes allow you to keep track of everything you need as a player about your character. In the journal you will find the standard character sheet containing everything you need to know about your character, as well as plenty of room for notes, and so much more. Playing multiple characters in different campaigns but losing track, make sure to grab a Hero's Journal for each of your characters so you can easily keep track of their epic feats in each of your unique adventures!

The Campaign Notes allow the game master to keep track of world building of the game on a macro level. This journal is the GM's ultimate world-building tool. Inside, you'll find sections for World Maps, Factions, Locations, NPCs, even a section for creating your own pantheon of gods. Included in each Campaign Journal are 6 blank maps. The can be used as the layout for villages, towns, or cities in your game. Name them and bring them to life, it's your world, we just provided the framework.

The Session Notes While the Campaign Journal is for meant macro-level world-building, the Session Journal is meant for micro-level game building. Prep for your next game night with an efficient easy to use notebook that has sections for creatures, notes, and maps. The Session journal is a blank slate designed to help your creative juices flow. You can plan up to 8 sessions in a single Session Journal. Not that sessions ever go as planned in Dungeons & Dragons as many may have experienced!

Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Sticky Notes

Even with a great journal, it can be a struggle to keep track of your notes. Campaigns can go on for years and when you need to look back at a piece of information from months ago it's nearly impossible to find it buried in a wall of notes. So we made a system that lets you easily keep track of NPCs you met, Towns you visited, Quests you've taken, factions you've learned of, and loot you've gathered.

The Dungeon Sticky notes come in 4 different packs. HP Tracker Pack- 5 pads of HP Tracker sticky notes, Initiative Pack- 5 pads of Initiative sticky notes, Spell Slot Pack- 5 pads of Spell Slot sticky notes and the Variety Pack- 1 pad of NPC sticky notes, 1 pad of Location sticky notes, 1 pad of Faction sticky notes, 1 pad of Inventory sticky notes, and 1 pad of Quest sticky notes.
