Voxel House: New Landships - Titanic Battles in the Age of Iron and Steam Miniature Wargame Released

Voxel House: Released on May 28, wargame Landships comes with a proposal for a steampunk universe, with 1/300 scale miniatures was designed into 3D printers. With the advent of more and more 3d printers, Voxelhouse staff decided to invest in a market that is revolutionizing the hobby, and that is slowly coming to fantastic results.

The game takes place in the world of Artrusia, where orcs, humans and an alien race: the Tripeds, fight in fierce battles in search of the mysterious Aerolite, ore that moves airships and the gigantic Landships: powerful combat machines.

“A diamond never comes out from a mouth´s fish” Orcish Proverb

Landships has a well thought out background with plenty of room for development and has what is called living lore, where gamers are invited to add to the story. The main idea is developing the world of Artrusia organically through interaction with battle reports and blogs, etc. It feels like it's the player's game as well as the designer's.

The game will cover two great factions: humans and orcs, but we have other factions like Dvalin the "Steam Beardies" (dwarves), Alfir The Nature People (elfs) Lords of Beyond (Fantastical Creatures coming from different dimensions, like Cthulhu Mythos) and an alien race similar with the HG Wells Martians; The Tripeds. In the core book, only orcs, humans and tripeds are playable, but new modules are on the way. The game has a unit point system or premade scenarios for fast battles. With quick and easy rules, our game is an option for fun games day with your friends!

Looks good. I always like a mech game - steampunk or not - that has infantry bases too. I'd love a game where there's a different meta on different levels, mechs tanks and airships holding the line while infantry darts in and claims the objectives..
