I'm very happy to get this guy out for sale. It represents many hours of hard work. It's just the thing to ferry your dastardly air travelers around the table. It's 54cm long and 17cm high (21 inches long by 17 inches tall, colonials) with lots of deck space for action and features for character.
Perry Miniatures: Upcoming Plastic Sudan British Infantry and Metal Pathans
Perry Miniatures: We received the first shots of the command frame from Renedra at the weekend for the British Infantry 1877-85 Afghanistan/Sudan. They will still need a little tweaking but just about there and Renedra have again done us proud! The intention is to release them at Salute (16th April), so fingers crossed. We’ve included a few pictures of them hurriedly stuck together over the weekend. You’ll notice that there is a Free metal figure that we’re giving away to customers buying 3 boxes of the Brits.
Michael’s also started on some metal Afghan’s to complement them. These will be part of a range we’re calling ‘Victoria’s Little Wars’ (VLW) and include occasional dips into various smaller wars of her reign. Any figures from other ranges that would overlap will be pointed out, for example, some of the shell jacketed infantry we’re producing for the up coming Cape Frontier Wars range can be used with the jezail armed Afghans for the First Afghan War.

Crooked Dice: Claw of Shiva Miniatures - Salute 2016 Pickup
Crooked Dice: Here's some quick pics of the painted figures courtesy of Andrew Taylor. Claws of SHIVA excel at close combat with their extended fighting claws. With these blades they are able to slice open flesh and metal and climb sheer heights extremely quickly.
These models are for pickup at Salute 2016 only. They will go on general release on 18th April 2016. Orders received before this date and which are to be posted will be held until 18th. They are £3.50 each or £6.50 for the pair.
Heroic Maps: Wargame Giant Maps: The Great Labyrinth
Heroic Maps: The builders of the Great Labyrinth are unknown, but the forbidding structure has stood for centuries, birthing dozens of legends, tales and stories. People say that the centre hides a great treasure, others a fearsome beast, others that it has no centre. Over the years various groups have used the Labyrinth for their own purposes. Lord Vantarg would send prisoners in and take bets on their survival, whilst the Thieves Guild of Heramar tested their initiates by ordering them to retrieve items hidden deep within. Most never returned from the deadly maze!
A printable rpg battlemap compatible with any RPG/Dungeon-Crawl or skirmish game. Use as a standalone gameboard, or combine with any same-scale tileset. The map is 50x50, equivalent to 25 of our standard 10x10 tiles. Contents: A large labyrinth, with winding passages, dead ends and some large rooms. Sinister statues, skulls and bone pits adorn the walls and floors.
WizKids: Cheap Unpainted Fantasy Miniature Range Announced
WizKids: As many of you may have already heard, only a few weeks ago we announced a brand new line of unpainted miniatures, featuring more than 150 unique fantasy sculpts, set to be released in Q4 2016.
With this release, we plan to raise the bar on collectible miniatures and blaze the trail for an era of highly detailed, desirable and affordable minis. We’d like to take some time to delve deeper into what you can expect with this upcoming and highly anticipated release, and hopefully answer any questions you may have.
We plan to roll out our new unpainted minis line with a number of our distinguished fantasy licenses. Additionally, there will be a WizKids house brand of unpainted minis available in our offerings. Where fantasy licensed branded minis will focus on famous creatures and characters, WizKids house brand minis will focus on environmental set pieces to enhance our player’s and collector’s game experiences.
Our team is working hard to ensure WizKids unpainted minis are highly detailed, incorporating scaled features with deep cut details, so your customers can look forward to easier hand painting. The unpainted minis line will not follow our historical collectible business model. Instead, it will focus on single repeat purchases, displaying the high quality minis in striking, yet visible, packaging. Customers will be able to see what they are buying on your shelves.
The collection will include characters, creatures, and even scene-building elements, all available in three types of specialty packs that will each contain a variety of sculpts (most of which will come fully assembled): Level Up Packs will contain both a standard and advanced sculpt of the same featured character. Designed with army-building in mind, Monster Packs will contain 1-3 miniatures with different poses of a single monster. Item Packs will contain scenery and items for detailing adventures.
Level Up Packs will include two (2) figures per pack, one standard and one advanced. Here is an example of a standard and advanced character. Note the level of detail in each figure and the many facets and intricacies between each. There will be a vast assortment of both male and female characters from a variety of classes and races in the initial release of unpainted minis. For example, look for generic and iconic heroes, monsters and more!
Prices tend to vary widely when it comes to unpainted minis in the marketplace. Most of our unpainted minis will be priced at $2.99-$3.99 depending on the pack, making them a great value for your customers. Our unpainted minis will come pre-primed with Acrylicos Vallejo primer so they are ready for hand painting right out of the box. Acrylicos Vallejo is a long running industry standard, known for their specialized high-quality paints.
The unpainted minis line will not be exclusive to a single distributor. Instead, we are taking a multi-distributor approach with this release. A full list of distributors carrying the line will be announced in the coming months. Consideration has been made in the packaging design, ensuring it is sized to fit on existing slat wall/peg systems. Packaging can also be placed on shelves, or any easily accessible location for your customers.
Look for this set to hit your shelves later this year. Until then, we encourage you to offer plenty of opportunity for pre-orders within your store.

Aventine Miniatures: Late Parthian - Early Sassanid Cataphract Cavalry
Aventine Miniatures: We have now listed the remodeled Late Parthian/Early Sassanid cataphracts, they have minor changes to facilitate the separate heads but are essentially the same bodies as those in the UD56 unit deals and associated packs.
By doing this we can use them with the newer heads made for the Sassanids, we will continue to list the original versions as well. Why do this? Adam tried one of the bodies with the new heads and liked it so much he went ahead and converted the whole set, he also added more heads to the mix so each unit deal will come with 18 heads to choose from, 12 of which will be specific to which ever set you order ie P or S. In the next week or so we will paint a unit each and post the results. We also added a mounted drummer to the ranges SASS6, it is listed as a separate model as not everyone will want one in the units.
