Megalith Games: Fjellgangr and Gorelord

Just found these new miniatures from Megalith Games to expand your starter warband! First of all we have the Fjellgangr for the Nordgaard faction. Gangr are small giants standing around 5-6 meters tall, and according to myth they are descended from the mighty Jotuns of Mythical times. They have been allies of the Dwarves since the Dwarves freed them from bondage to the Vanitan gods.

In battle a Fjellgangr is a fearsome spectacle, lashing back and forth with a club the size of a small tree. A single strike can crush a man dead, and their kick can knock victims many meters, not to mention shattering every bone in their body. For combating multiple foes, the Fjellgangr has the Thrash weapon ability, allowing him to attack all models in his two-inch melee range!

They spurn armor, preferring to rely on their thick, stony skin (which reduces the damage of all hit by 1D6 points). This toughness combined with their 21 life-points and high defense makes them a scary spectacle, and the epicenter of many a bloodbath.

Secondly we have the Gorelords which are Fomorian-sized brood - Fomorians constituting the medium class between regular Brood and Minotaur-size beasts. Notably, the Gorelord is possessed of greater than usual intelligence, combined with tremendous power and skill in melee. Armed with two weapons and great fighting still, the Gorelord is a warlord who should get stuck into melee as soon as he can possibly charge.

With a 16 inch movement and 12 inch charge range he can maneuver well and pick his fights. Due to a good defense and armor, 21 life-points and access to four items, the Gorelord can take a lot of punishment. Although he has some abilities and tactics to boost troops, his primary use is carving up enemy warlords and characters. The Gorelord is not invulnerable. so beware charges from enemy elites.
